Featured Charity: The Wildlife Rescue Association of BC

Logo for The Wildlife Rescue Association of BC

The Wildlife Rescue Association of BC was established in 1979 to rehabilitate wildlife affected by human activity and provide education to the public on co-existing with urban wildlife.

Today, the Wildlife Rescue runs its wildlife hospital on the south shore of Burnaby Lake and it treats animals from across the Lower Mainland, the rest of BC and further afield. Once the animals in care are healthy and ready to live in the wild, they are released back to their natural habitat.

The WRA's outreach includes a wildlife helpline, the EarthFest community festival, and hundreds of presentations and displays throughout the Lower Mainland.

Charity Auction

Our annual Charity Auction this year is in support of The Wildlife Rescue Association of BC! This live auction event will see a vibrant collection of artwork, gently-loved goods, collectibles, art commission opportunities and other oddities auctioned off to the highest bidders in the room.

All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the wildlife protection and rehabilitation efforts of the WRA!

Donations are accepted right up until the auction itself. If you have something you would like to donate, please bring it to Con Ops at least three hours ahead of the auction (check the schedule, and the earlier the better!) and fill out a description form for our awesome auctioneer. The form will be available in both digital and paper formats at Con Ops.

You can also fill the form in advance and submit it digitally, or print and bring it with you here:

Thank you for supporting local wildlife!
